Fliteboard is the world’s leading electric hydrofoil brand and they were looking to take a bite out of the jetski market in America. The opportunity lay in lake-life as Fliteboarding is much easier on flat water than the ocean, and the watersports & lifestyle industry is already well established around the US’s vast and numerous lakes. Converting just a small percentage of potential lake-life lovers into Fliteboarders would represent a massive uptick in sales.

Rather than a straight forward sales approach the strategy was to upsell them a better lake life - cleaner, quieter, more refined and more convenient. So we set about producing a range of social, web and email content that would make them ditch their traditional water toys and fall in love with lake life, the Fliteboard way.

We launched the campaign with a series of films and reels

 

The films ran concurrently with paid social.

 

All social lead to an exclusive lake-life guide, bringing them further down the purchase funnel and ultimately to our site where we offered special lake-ready bundles.

The campaign was a huge success making hundreds of thousands in sales and introducing a fledgling American audience to a whole new way to play.
